Need help ID'ing Termites or Flying Ants
They are flying around the kids playset in the backyard.

Look like ants to me...but hard to tell against that background....for my eyes at least.

I don't think its termites as the worker termites are whitish/cream colored and the swarmers which look more like ants usually only swarm in the spring with some exception.
They don't look like ants either though they are hard to see. Could be small, parasitic wasps.
Can you get a close up of them on a white background? Details such as how many body segments, legs, antennae, wings and/or covers need to be more visible for ID.
Even if termites are someday found flying around the kids playset, that doesn't mean your house has a problem. Termites are in the soil all around us, unless you are north of New York state. Termites are actually good recyclers, when they mind their own business...
