Knee Wall Issue

Need to attach backing to my knee wall. Was thinking of using a Tyvek-type material. However, some of the electrical runs are attached to the back edge of the wall studs. Can the Tyvek contact the electrical. I realize that my wiring situation is not ideal, but there is no changing it now. There's 110 feet of wall up there and I really do not want to furr out that much length. Even thought about a rigid foam board with a channel routed out for the electrical, but I am wanting to go as easy as possible. Thanks.
