De-winterizing lawn sprinkler system

I was wondering if anyone had any tips on turning on a sprinkler system after it has been winterized?

In the middle picture.... turn the left handle valve with the white tag on it..... counterclockwise.
That appears to be your main water shutoff.

No real tips. I just turn the water on and check for leaks. Then using the controller I turn on each zone one by one and check each zone for leaks and anything out of the normal.

I was wondering about the pipe that is connected to the water main. There are 4 valves with black plastic caps. Do i need to turn any of those with a flat head screw driver?
