Low vs high nitrogen starter fertilizer

I see some that are 5 and others are 25. What do u recommend for fall/overseeding

I doubt a seed starter fertilizer has 5 (nitrogen) as it's first number. What are the other nutrient amounts?

I agree. Most I have seen are in the range of 25-25-4 to 18-24-12, both with higher nitrogen content than established lawns would require.

5-10-10 or 6-20-20 is good for new lawn seed
