Need recommendation for violet killing

After reading some things online it seems like now is the time to start treating violets. Can someone recommend a product I can buy in a HD or Lowes or whatever to kill these things? It's in my lawn so I can't use Roundup.

Yes, now is the best time to rid yourself of violets although more than a single application may be necessary. My suggestion is to find a product containing triclopyr (Turflon) or a an asier to find combination product including 2,4-D (Trimec). Try a local hardware store like TrueValue or a place like Tractor Supply if the box stores don't carry anything

If the issue is small, a broadleaf product should be effective.

To get specific, I've noticed most Weed B Gone types handle violets, specifically the stuff for "Chickweed, Clover" and so on (Search Results for weed b gon chickweed at The Home Depot). It's real cheap and works pretty well, but you might have to get in there and dig some of them out by hand to stop them from coming back in case it doesn't penetrate deep enough.
