Sprinkler solenoid valve not working?
just had a 2nd solenoid valve put in along with a new water line with sprinklers for grass, but it seems it's not talking with the rainbird timer. i can turn the valve by hand and the sprinklers work, but can't seem to get it working with the timer
the grass sprinkler line valve is on the left (new)
and the drip system valve is on the right (existing)

Zone 1 = drip system - right valve - red and white wires.
Zone 2 = grass system - left valve - green and white wires.
The white wire is common among all the valves.
The wiring needs to be clean and tightly wrapped.
The red connection looks iffy. Can't see the green one.
White connection is tough to determine.
Obviously you'll need wirenuts on those connections when done working on them.
The gel filled wirenuts are highly recommended.
You could reverse the red and green wires at the valves to see if the problem changes valves. Zone 1 would now be grass and Zone 2 would be drip.
