Will this plant return this year?

I bought this ornamental grass last year. I live in Mass and cut it back in the fall. Will this fountain grass return?
I think it's princess Caroline fountain grass

Your linked material describes it as an annual even in Georgia''s Zone 8; so I doubt that it would winter over as a perennial in Massachusetts which is Zones 5 or 6.

The site says "It is a little late to emerge from dormancy in spring so don't dig it up thinking it is dead!", so give it time. Vermont, the Princess Caroline is another version of what we have in the south in that it is hardier and can take the colder climates. I don't know about "annual" as it seems to keep growing year after year.

Thank you

Thanks for replies. I'll see if it comes back. We sure loved that grass.
