How to Remove Raised Beds
I would like to remove three raised beds. They were installed with railroad ties held in place with rebar posts.
I would appreciate advice on tools to use. Thanks.

I'm assuming you don't have machinery available. Drive a pry bar or pick axe between the landscape ties and pry the top timbers up. Then keep moving your way down. Then you might be able to wiggle and lift up to remove the rebar or you can dig down around the rebar until you are able to pull them up.

Those don't look like RR ties, more like 4x4's. And newer to boot. Get a prybar and hammer or sledge, tap underneath the top one and pry up until its loose-repeat at other points that have rebar. I would empty them out first. If the prybar doesn't work a chainsaw or skill saw and a sledge.

I think a chainsaw will get jacked up trying to cut that close to the ground. A sawzall with a coarse blade would probably be my choice.

I wouldn't be afraid of using my chainsaw on the top piece but I would excavate the inside enough first so my chain wouldn't get in the dirt/rocks!
Once you get one started it should go fairly easy, the more leverage you have prying the better.
