Fixing Patio Umbrella
Hi, the canvas on this umbrella is good but it has become stretched in that the places where the canvas canopy attaches to the umbrella ribs. Because it has stretched the ribs keep falling out. See pics. Anyone solve this irritation. Thanks!

So if the ends were extended by some amount then the ribs would be long enough to hold the canvas?
What dia are the ribs?

Don't you have a bit of slack in the tie down on the top to take up the stretch?
I have also used some small binder clamps to pinch them and keep them snug I have also resewn leather.
Also used safety pins on the top/bottom to take up slack?
