leak in sprinkler valve box
While turning my sprinklers back on for the spring, I noticed a leak in one of the valve boxes. I'm a new homeowner and this is my first experience with anything of this nature, so any feedback is appreciated. From the picture you can see the water spraying from the middle valve. It looks like the previous owner has already cut out and repaired the pipe at some point, but it looks like this leak is at the connection between the valve and the original PVC. Is this something that can just be fixed with epoxy or something?

Unfortunately no
Hard to tell what you have but usually the valves have barbed connections to the pipe but regardless there is no easy way to repair shot of taking the valve off and replacing/repairing the connection,

Welcome to the forums.
It looks like a poor job of cleaning and possibly a poor job of gluing.
It could also be it wasn't properly blown out for the winter, it froze and forced the pipe out of the fitting.
Usually in order to make a repair you need to dig out the valve box and then out a ways to be able to get play in the pipe.
Can you shoot a picture of the entire box.

It is a long shot, but.....shut off the system and drain that line...creating negative pressure. Daub some PVC primer on the joint, followed by some PVC glue. 10% chance it works.

Ive seen vidio where a leak was repaired by using a canister vac to draw a neg pressure so that cleaner/glue can be sucked into the joint. But considering this is a high pressure system it really needs to be robust.
