Irrigation leak tips
I think my leak is where the red circle is. Hard to tell when working alone...by the time I turn the water on, there’s a pond.
Any tips to correct this.....assuming it’s leaking cause the barbed connection isn’t in far enough. I’d rather avoid digging up more and adding a small length of pipe.

I had to blow the picture up but yes, the pipe appears to be barley onto the fiting.
Dig up a couple feet down the pipe, cut off the band clamp and see if there is enough slack to push it further onto the fitting then install a new worm gear clamp.
You need to dig up enough pipe to gain some slack of get the entire fitting further down into the ground.
I also use my butane torch to warm up the pipe, makes it much easier to slide on!

As Marq mentioned..... the line is a tad short. If you can't dig back enough to get slack..... you will have to cut it and add on a "spliced on" piece of poly line.
The orange line is where the poly line is supposed to be pushed on to.
