3 wires no copper or color

I have a chandelier that has three wires, all silver threads and not color coded. My ceiling as a black, white and a ground wire. What goes where?

Does one of the wires have a ribbed sheathing & the other smooth? Post a pic if you can.

You will need to use the resistance setting of a multimeter to determine which is if there is really no marking. Neutral wire (white) will show continuity to the shell. Hot wire (black)continuity to tab. Check the third wire shows continuity to the metal of the chandelier.
