Hunter Fan Remote Control ?

Trying to find a clear answer on how, or if I can, wire a Hunter Fan Remote so the Fan works with the remote and the light works with a wall switch. I have the typical 2 switch control wiring with Black, White, and Red in the ceiling. I just want the light to come on and off. Does not need to dim.

Fan remote is Black, White, Yellow, and Blue. The newer style remote fan control from Hunter. (Yellow-Black Fan Control)

If that is not possible what is the best option to control the fan and light which does not have pull chains, if there is another way? I saw a toggle 3 speed fan control but not sure if that will work or not.

Any help would be appreciated.

wire a Hunter Fan Remote so the Fan works with the remote and the light works with a wall switch.
If you have constant power at the ceiling:
  • Constant power goes to line black of the remote.
  • Assuming remote load yellow is for the fan control yellow to fan black.
  • Remote load blue (for light) capped off. Not used.
  • Fan blue to switched power.
  • All whites connected together.
  • Grounds connected per code.
