Lamp end connector

Hello,
I have a uv light for my pond, I have to replace the lamp end connector that holds the uv light. It is a 4 pin t5. I ordered the replacement lamp end connector with wires, see pic. This lamp end connector has 2 yellow and 2 white wires coming from it, my existing uv wire only has a black, white and green wire coming from it. Can someone tell me how to connect this properly..
Thank You
Kev

Welcome to the forums!

With the difference in the wires I suspect you may have purchased the incorrect socket. Does the existing socket also have 4 pins, and does the fixture use self ballasted lamps or is there a remote ballast someplace? If there is a remote ballast, the wiring diagram will be on the ballast.

If you can post some pictures of your existing fixture that would be very helpful.

Again, is there a ballast someplace in the fixture? That will have a wiring diagram.

How many wires do you have coming out of the transformer (F)? Is that the black, white and green wires?

Looking at your existing socket the outside part should be able to slide back down the cable coming from the transformer. That will get you access to the wire terminals.

Sorry for the dumb question but I want to be 100% clear. You are talking about the wires going from the transformer to the existing lamp correct?
