Bathroom remodel aka the lighting has gone awry
Hi there,
Context:
12 yrs ago a professional electrician installed a light and fan combo.
The electrician also roughed in on that same circuit a box for a gfci outlet and a vanity light
We're now ready to install the vanity light and gfci outlet with a single pole switch.
Now when we throw on the single pole switch, the outlet works, the vanity light works but the vanity never shuts off and the fan/light combo are controlled by the single pole.
Does this make sense?

Welcome to the forums! Wow, nothing worse than time lag remodeling. I feel for ya. So we can better understand your problem, could you post pictures of the switches and receptacle in the box, pulled out from the box with the power removed. http://www.doityourself.com/forum/el...your-post.html
