Replacing 3-way dimmer with 3-way switch
I assume this is a 3-way dimmer (I know it's a dimmer, but assume 3-say). I want to replace it with a regular 3-way switch. Also assume I buy a regular 3-way switch, but which wires do I connect to where on the new 3-way switch? Don't know that it matters, but the other switch is not a dimmer.

When you purchase any three way switch it will have three distinct screw terminals.
One is always dark/black. This is called the common screw. This is the only important wire.
The other two wires are called the travelers and connect to the light brass colored screws.
There is no polarity to the travelers.
In your case.... the wire that is currently connected to the black wire on the dimmer is common.
