Patio light

My ceiling patio light went out the other day. I replaced the light, still out. I have replace light switch, and socket, still no light.

Circuit Breaker is good, other lights are on.

What next, running new wire? Any suggestions?

First suggestion would be to look for a tripped GFCI....could be in bath, garage, outside....

The I would suggest you get a cheap analog multimeter, and check for 120 volts at the feed cable. The power feed may be in the switch box or it may feed into the box where the light is mounted.

Have to agree 100% with Carbide.
You can can spend all day replacing things there's nothing wrong with or troubleshoot with a $10.00 volt/ohm meter and really fix it.
