Removing landscape lighting
Hi!
Pardon my ignorance of electrical knowledge.
I'm trying to remove our backyard landscape lighting. I noticed that two wires come out of some sort of conduit. One goes to the timer and the other feeds the fixtures/lamps (see attached photo).
How do I remove those two wires that seem to be connected to the conduit exactly? Would this require an electrician?
Thank you in advance.

That may be a conduit that goes under the sidewalk. The two screws will need to be removed and the cover opened. Disconnect what is connected to the wires and pull the wires thru the box.
There should be a matching box or similar on the other side of the sidewalk where those wires go to. You could pull all the wiring out or just tuck it under the rock for future use.
