Suggestions for Bathroom Vanity Fixture
Hi all,
I'm looking to install the following bathroom vanity fixture for someone though the challenge is that the electrical box is located close to the mirror. With a fairly large circular center section, the middle hole for the rod to go into the mounting bracket would have the fixture covering the mirror. I could possibly move the fixture up some and drill a new hole in the fixture for the rod but not sure if that would be ideal (plus I'd likely have to do it with the fixture mounted upside down which doesn't look as good to me). I also don't want to just mount it from the two anchors and screws on both sides without anything in the middle.

Open to any suggestions on if it would be possible to mount this. Else I'm thinking of maybe going with another fixture like https://www.1800lighting.com/Nuvo-Li...temsku=60-4683 which has a smaller rounded base.
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the quick replies.
Geochurchi, I can look to take another picture of the whole area the next time I'm there if needed but there is about 1" or less between the bottom of the box and the mirror. I've never seen it so close like that before.
mossman, I think I agree with your options here. Trying to modify the existing fixture for installation or "rigging" the installation approach itself is not ideal. A new fixture would probably be best. Will double-check dimensions but I think https://www.1800lighting.com/Nuvo-Li...temsku=60-4683 should work.

A fixture bar like this may be of some help, you may have to drill some new holes and retap some but it could be an option , what is the measurement from the center of the box to the top of the mirror? https://www.overstock.com/Home-Garde...16/subcat.html
