Opinion of BA15D T4 LED light bulb replacement
I like to replace the BA15D T4 50W light bulbs in my bathroom fixture which takes 6 bulbs. The 300W generates heat I don't need.
I was looking at LED replacements such as this:
LumenBasic BA15d LED bulb Bayonet Base 7 watt 50w-60w Halogen Equivalent Replaces JD Type T3/T4 Bulbs (Pack of 2) - LumenBasic
It is surprising to see that they can make such small bulbs on 120V. Does anybody have experience with such small LED replacements? also, does it matter such products are not UL listed?

I have used similar bulbs in pinball machines and they have worked well but they were much less powerful. In your case I would be worried about the bulbs ability to dissipate heat, but I would give them a try and see how long they last.

I woudl think that this 7w bulb would produce less heat than my current 50W.
However, I have experienced on regular sized CFL and LED that the base is hotter than expected.
Surprising to see how little space they have for a mini power supply...

Yes, obviously a 7w bulb will produce less heat than a 50w. The thing is can that bulb dissipate 7w of heat. That's a lot of wattage in a small pacakge. Incandescent bulbs made of glass and metals never had to worry about heat but LED's with their internal electronics do.

Meanwhile I received 2 bulbs. I used my IR thermometer to test.
The body with the LED's is much cooler. ~35C. The only part that is warmer than touch is the white base between socket and LED cylinder. Maybe 45C. Socket is also cooler.
