Help replacing ceiling box
Hey folks, I'm new here. Removed the old ceiling box because our new fixture is heavy enough to need a ceiling fan brace. All the braces I'm seeing at HD and Lowe's (Southern California area), have the mounting points for the fixture either parallel to the support brace, or maybe at a 45° angle. The direction my light fixture mounts, is perpendicular to the support brace, so I need one with a 90° mount, but I don't really see any.
Can anyone point me to a solution, or maybe a place that sells such a type? HD and Lowe's don't have a great selection. Also, this is the dining room of a two story home, so I don't have access from above.

Welcome to the forums.
A picture would be a big help...... How-to-insert-pictures.
If no picture..... describe what you need better.
A box that mounts to underside of a joist.
A box that mounts to the side of a joist.
If this is a large custom fixture..... post a link to it.

Sorry, on my way to work, so I was in a rush. This is the type of brace I need. The red line represents the direction the light fixture bracket runs
