Flickering lights ( indoor recessed )

hello,

So my 4 recessed lights in the downstairs living area have been flickering when I turned them on. ( just got house ). I inspected and noticed they weren’t dimmable bulbs , so I bought dimmable ones.
I thought that was issue but wasn’t. Now they flicker as soon as I turn them on for a few seconds , than stop. Than would happen again.

I don’t believe there is a lot on the line as other lights in area are fine. This is area we don’t use to much either

thanks !

Any ideas ?

Check/clean the wiring at the switch.

If it is a dimmer then I would try a different dimmer if wiring is OK.

What type of bulbs were in the fixtures and what type of bulbs did you replace with?

Some bulbs are not compatible with certain dimmers.

It looked like regular flood light bulbs .. no description on it .. I replaced with GE “ relax “ 65w dimmable led flood light bulbs.
