Looking for a blend /deflector for a 5" recessed light

I do have have 8 5" lightolier recessed lights in my basement. Two of them are near a projector screen. Even if I use narrow flood (25 degree) spots I still get some light wash on my screen. I experimented with some tape (picture) That alone fixes the issue.

Are there retrofit products like this? Something that could be clamped between can trim and ceiling?
Or some sort of blend that could clip on?

Yes, they exist. I just Googled for "recessed light shade" and options appeared. I'm not saying there are a lot of options but there are options.

I probably would make it myself out of thin sheet metal cut to shape, painted white and held in place with tabs or some double sided tape. When I did the Google search there were people who 3D printed shades so if you have a printer that would be a option.

thanks. Using the right words in the search is probably half the battle. However, I didn't find many. Here is one:https://www.etsy.com/listing/1466474...viewed-1&frs=1

It's an unusual enough request that I'm not surprised that there aren't many products out there. In the commercial realm it's more common but you might have to get creative with your search terms or break down and make what you want.

thanks! I will get an eye lid and see if I can use it without replacing the trim.
Meanwhile I also found somebody on etsy doing 3d print work who is willing to adapt a shell diffuser design.
