Briggs seems to be starving for fuel.

I have a B&S 7.25 128M05 5468M1 1301085 on a Craftsman self propelled mower. After a few hours of mowing it starts to act like it's starving for fuel. I have cleaned the carb in a sonic bath then replaced the carb with a known good one. I have flushed the tank twice and put in fresh fuel. Replaced air filter and plug. Exhaust isn't clogged. Is there a way to check the fuel cap? Kinda lost on this one!

Briggs seems to be starving for fuel.

Decided to check compression, 30psi hot. Let it cool, put it tdc on compression stroke and heard air coming from exhaust. Need I say more!!!!!

The exhaust valve is open just before TDC....???

I would question your compression gauge, if it has been running, I doubt it is on 30 PSI compression.
