shindaiwa edger
I am looking to sale my LE230 edger on a local town site.
I purchased it back in about 2005.
It needs a new blade and a tune up but other than that it is in good shape.
About what price should I ask for the edger?
thanks

Difficult to tell. Why not look on auction sites with your model number and see what they are going for. Are you going to replace the blade and do a tune up on it? Or sell it as is?

If it was working, not all beat up and a new blade you can ask 50% of new and expect to get about 40%.
Not working, worn out blade, it may not sell or your going to get penny's on the dollar.
Anything I'm selling I post on Craig's list.
At least 99% of the time with a small gas powered tool that gets little use like that tool It's a fuel issue and the carb. needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
Change the plug, air filter, oil, rebuild the carb. is what may be concidered a tune up.
A new blade is about $6.00, new carb. about $16.00, may be well worth fixing before selling.
