Murray Select Rider Mower Mod: 42591X8B-Need owner's manual Please

I can't seem to find an owner's manual online for this mower. Any site that says they have it makes you sign up with your email address before you can get it; no thanks!!

What I am looking for in the manual is what this lever is for. It is located just under the driver's seat and it seems to control a rod just under it that is next to the mower deck belt and near a pulley.

Any help would be appreciated.

Is your mower gear driven or hydro static? It's probably for the hydro static release so it can be pushed / moved without the motor running

Thank you for that information. I will tell my friend.
No need for the owner's manual now. Selling the mower but needed to know what that lever was.

Thank you again.

I think used Mowers (and almost anything else I can think of) usually command a higher price IF the associated paperwork is available for the Buyer

Just a thought; it's a money thing !

Thank you, excellent point!!

If anything I would like to find it in pdf format. Especially if it is a very large manual. Don't want to print out a lot of pages if the buyer does not really care about it. Would rather given him/her the pdf file instead.

It's not the Owner's Manual; but I ran across this Schematic and Parts List for the Unit:

Murray 42591x8B Parts List and Diagram - (1999) : eReplacementParts.com

The Owner's Manual should be even easier to obtain:
