Toro 20005 lawn mower drive wheel is out of alignment
After reassembling the front wheel drive assembly on a Toro 20005, the left front wheel is out of alignment, i.e., a big gap exists between the wheel and the wheel cover. In addition, the wheel does not spin like the right wheel. Any ideas?

That's what I thought but I compared the installation to the aligned wheel and I have the same setup on both wheels. I also tried adding spacers on the pinion side and there is not enough room to still fit the retaining ring. I tried adding a spacer on the mounting bolt side and the wheel kept falling off.

Take a look at a parts diagram and check all the parts and their orientation in comparison to what you've done. Something wasn't put on right but it's near impossible for us to know what.
