honda push mower

Well i have a Honda self propelled mower that's leaking oil through the oil pan gasket. What i need to know is what caused this and if only that gasket needs replacement. Also how to replace it and or a manual if possible. I would like to add that i found the leak by using an uv dye. Thanks in advance

Hard to say what caused it, does it vibrate... maybe a bent blade shook it loose. Maybe it's just a bad gasket, or maybe it got too much oil in it and built up too much crankcase pressure and blew the gasket out. No way for us to know. We also can't know if that's the only thing that needs to be replaced... you'll have to determine that. As far as how to do it... take the motor off, take the cover off, replace the gasket, and reassemble.
