Shindaiwa throttle lock lever came loose

Somehow, the throttle lock lever on my Shindaiwa 577 chainsaw came out of position. It is out further than it is supposed to go, prevents me from squeezing the throttle, and does not want to go back in. There is a little tab on the bottom-front of it that keeps it from going in. Can anyone give me some guidance on fixing this? THANK YOU.

I'm not familiar with that model but most likely you'll have to take the screws out of the handle to split it and get it back in place.

Thnx Cheese. I was able to use a screw driver as a pry and a hammer to tap it back into place--but I have no idea how it ever came out!
