Toro Zero Turn Not Starting

Hey everyone.

I bought a used Toro TimeMaster Zero Turn with a 50" deck about a month ago. Well now that the weather is shaping up, I went to start it so I could pull it out of my garage to wash it. The mower won't start.

At the time I purchased the mower, it would start right up. It is a 2016 model and only has a little over 100 hours on it. It has gas, I tested the battery voltage and it is reading 12.5V.

Here is a video of me attempting to start it. Can anyone tell by the sound what may be wrong?

Sounds to me like the starter motor is spinning but the engine is not. Could be any number of things, but being only a couple years old I would assume that nobody has messed with it much and that the ground is good, so would start with the battery. You said that you tested it and it's reading 12.5 volts, so guessing that your test was with a voltmeter. If that's the case, stop by your local lawn equipment dealer or auto parts store and ask them to load test it for you.

That is a rapid click from the solenoid. You have a voltage problem. Either the battery is low, bad, or the connections are bad.

Thanks everyone. I charged the battery and it now starts. I took it to AutoZone to test and it had a 12.3V reading. I didn't think .3 of a volt would result in it not starting.
