Mower Ignition Coil Problem?
Hi Guys,
Earlier this spring I had to replace the coil in my 6.5hp Tecumseh engine (no spark).
After replacing it I can start on the first pull again. When its cold.
Once it warms up, its reluctant to re-start. I have to pull very fast to get it to fire up, which it does, and runs fine.
Could it be too little gap on the coil (or too much)? I measured the gap from the old coil before I started and set the new one the same.
Anyone run into this before?

Not likely, what model? Does any puff of smoke come out when it starts warm? Possible valve clearance issues.

Solved
Well, the mower slowly died while using it.
I did some checking and I had no spark so I replaced the coil, again.
It definitely starts and runs better now.
Must of been a bad coil to begin with.
