Installing oil pipe on engine.

the cap on the oil draining pipe (696683) on my b&s (model 12E114-0268-E1) has become permanently stuck. so i purchased a new oil pipe along with a new cap. however, i am not sure which end should be inserted into the engine, and which end should have the cap on it. i have attached the image. as you can see, one end is painted white, while the other is pink. so which one goes where? thanks!

The pink looks like thread locker and should go towards the engine.

thanks for the info!
so what is the white stuff on the opposite end? could it be some sort of an anti-seizing compound? if not, would it be safe to place such compound to prevent the cap from getting stuck...again?

Looks almost like teflon tape. Teflon tape would be ok there.
