Tune up kit for ES-250

I have an echo es-250 blower/vac.

The plug in the es-250 is a NGK BPM8Y plug. The below kit looks to have a WX L7T plug and gas filter also looks a bit bigger in the kit than what is used in the es-250

Does anyone know if the below kit can be used on the es-250? Description only list es-210?

That's a chinese no name spark plug. I have no way to cross reference it to what it may be roughly equivalent to.
The large filter may not fit into the tank through the grommet opening. Some Echos have a large opening for the tank grommet and some have a small opening. I would look for one made for your model.

The filter does fit into the tank? Will this work and not cause issues?
The seller of the kit said plug said it is a universal plug.
But did not answer if it would work in the es-250

If it fits in the hole, it will work as a filter.

Yes it fits,,,but is almost twice the size of the original.

I may just order a spark plug that is recommended and skip the universal one?

I got the same plug that is in the kit below and used it.

I also took the engine cover off to clean the cooling fins.
Had an issue getting back on and had to remove a screw from the carburetor and had to rotate it right a few degrees to get the engine cover to snap together at the handle. I had to reattach the throttle cable and linkage rod

When I started the blower, it started right up but it is running a lot faster at idle than before.
Should I take it apart and check the cable or adjust the idle down by using the below ?

3. Check idle speed and reset if necessary. If a tachometer is available, idle speed screw (A) should be set to the specifications found on “Specifications” Page of this manual. Turn idle screw (A) clockwise to increase idle speed; counter clockwise to decrease idle speed.

Turn the screw until it idles where you like it first. If that doesn't work, THEN take it apart to give yourself more adjustment capability.

Tried turning the screw counter clockwise on turn, idle is still running too high..
No affect with the screw

Back it out some more and if it backs away from the throttle lever and is no longer touching it but the idle speed is still too high, then you have another problem. Possibly linkage connection or cable routing.
