My house is 15 years old. Basement un-finished until this year. Trying to paint the wood window casing. Put on a coat of beauti-tone Acryl-lok. Advertised as a munti surface primer. Recommended by they guy at the home hardware store. The wood casing has some water staining from previous condensation. I'm the place with the worst staining the primer is bubbling a ND cracking. I'll try to attach a pic. Sanded the wood before priming too. Any ideas.

It is the worst I have ever used for quality control of the density and color of the product. I purchased 4 gallons, opened the first can, sort of the brown cedar tone I expected. Opened a second can to mix with the first, it had a very orange cast. Blended not too bad at first it seemed, but even being well mixed, it dried with with very notable color variations. Last two cans going back unopened for a refund. Now I just hope as it weathers, the colors fade to a similar look.
