Staining newish deck with mildew
In November/December I built a deck. Treated decking. I planned on staining it first thing in the Spring, but we haven't had enough dry days that align with my schedule until now.
In the meantime, we've noticed a bit of mildew. It's most noticeable after the rain.
I'm seeing a few options online, like hydrogen peroxide, oxygen bleach (not chlorine bleach) but I wanted to get your take if there's a particular method you would recommend.
I'll be staining/sealing with a medium-dark color ReadySeal.

It's best to clean the deck first! That will both make the stain look better and prevent the mildew from coming back as quick. They sell extra mildewcide that can be added to the stain if needed.
I normally use regular household [chlorinated] bleach because it's cheap and effective. Rinsing nearby vegetation before, during and after will prevent the bleach from harming it. Oxygenated bleach is probably more diy friendly.
