Staining concrete adjoining rooms

Hi , new to the site and tried a search and maybe I did not use the correct terminology but I could not find anything . My question is when acid staining a concrete floor that joins other rooms is it possible to tape off then do the other rooms at a later date then blend in with the sealer or will there always be a difference in color or a definite line where you stopped and started again ? What is the preferred method when you can not complete all rooms at the same time ? Thanks

It's almost impossible to do things exactly the same a year or two down the road so there will be some difference. You might get it very similar but there will be a demarcation but most people probably will never notice. If you are worried about it you can do a strip between rooms that you stain a different color to separate the two areas like a threshold strip.

Thanks for the reply and the threshold suggestion . I may try that if there is a visible line . The floors I need to do will be a few weeks apart due to my work schedule .
