"Blackboard" paint - any advice?

We have a place on a wall where we want to set up a blackboard or chalkboard for the grand kids to draw. It seems there are several options... We could simply buy a chalkboard, there is paint and there is a roll material to stick on the wall.

Has anyone tried these options? Any feedback? What works best?

Thanks!

We used the paint on stuff at work. It's OK, but don't expect as good as a true blackboard. You might want to consider a white board instead.

I've applied the painted version for customers before but have no idea how it does long term.
