Removing paint from grout

Hello everyone, thanks in advance. Is it possible to remove paint from grout or is it permanently stuck there? If it is permanently stuck there, 😥, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this ugly fireplace beautiful??? Take into account, I'm very very new to this home renovation stuff but very excited about it!! Thank you all. I hope the pic shows up.

Goof off will remove latex paint but in the process it may spread it around as it softens up the paint.

You can remove and replace the grout.

here are instructions for posting pics - How to insert pictures.

If it's just a little bit of paint on the grout you can usually just scratch it off. If all the grout is painted you'd need to remove at least the top layer of grout which may mean you need to regrout.

btw - welcome to the forums!
