I found a cabinet door (wood worker) maker that sells very nice cabinet doors very inexpensively. The probalem I am having is finding someon that will paint these doors for me at a resonable price. My idea is to have the doors painted and paint the boxes myself. Every one I talk to wants an outrageous amount. Almost the same money as if they were refinishing my old doors. These guys want to charge me the same price of refinishing. I would talk to an interior painter, but I am worried about the qualiy. Any ideas or is there a place I can send them out to be painted? I am in the Chicago area.

Why not just do it yourself and be assured that the best materials are used, that's the whole point of this forum!

I agree with Marq. It's not like you're painting the whole house or will have the living quarter upset to the point that you can't live in it. You're painting a piece of wood. Just brush back and forth. And use expensive paint and brushes for quality work. Or is there something more that we should know about?
