Matching door casings or not

We are planning on painting all our stained wood trim a solid white. We are also thinking of keeping the stained solid wood doors as is, or stain them darker. My question is, should we paint the door casing white or match it with the same stain as the doors??

Thanks!!

No right or wrong answer, do what you think is best.

I have my doors a different color than all the base and casing if it makes any difference!

IMO it looks best if all the trim is the same - paint the base, door casing/jambs and windows. I've done a lot of houses where the doors were left stained/natural. That said, as mentioned above there are no set rules - the main thing is what pleases you and yours.
