Painting Fascia under gutter

I take it that I need to remove the gutter to paint the fascia? The gutter is an 80 foot length, how do you pro's do it?

There are screws holding the gutter to the fascia, is there any way to pull back the gutter and paint half of it at a time?

Normally we just paint what we can get with the gutter up. It's no small task to remove gutters, especially long ones.

Marksr, thx for the reply.

The facia is in good shape and is cedar. I am thinking I tape it and spray it underneath as the gutters are going to be painted also. What do you think?

Spraying is an option although it's best to back brush after spraying to work the paint into the wood. Spray only often results in the paint just setting on top of the wood, working the paint in gives it a better bond to the substrate.

We, the family has the same issue as yours. In that case, we use a small paint brush, 1.5 inch to paint it. It works.
