Help me identify part?

This is from a 2001 BMW X5. There's a coolant reservoir, but something else attached to it and that's what I'm trying to identify. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The top reservoir is power steering (Upper left cap thingy with spindles)

The bottom reservoir house your oil filter (Lower left cap with large plastic formed nut)

Any idea what the metal part is on the back? It looks like a pump?

Not sure what metal thing your talking about. What I listed is what is there, except for the "Metal" bracket that holds everything together.

Go to RealOEM.com - Select Your BMW Model

and it will list pretty much all your parts for your specific car based upon your vin...you'll just have to do some hunting.
