Subaru 2015 Forester

Tail light brake light bulb burned out. Removed two bolts holding lens but CAN NOT remove the plastic lens. Neighbor Subie owner says tail light lens notoriously DIFFICULT to remove!
Know a trick? Hard to grip. Using rubber kitchen gloves but can't budge it!
ANY suggestions welcomed!

Not familiar with the configuration on that lens. If the mount bolts are external, i.e. the open holes face the rear of the vehicle as opposed to them holding from inside, then you might take a slightly larger wood or sheet metal screw and very carefully (emphasis on very carefully) screw them slightly into the plastic hole. Just enough to get a little grip and then try gently tugging on them. Have to be very cautious of screwing them too far in and splitting the plastic.

YouTube is your friend. I was envisioning an individual lens vice the entire assembly.
