2015 Infinity QX60 Repair Manual

We just bought a certified 2015 Infinity QX60 3.5L and have some questions

1. We did a test drive felt good and bought the infinity. After a week of driving we realized that at stop sign or when we park there is some weird fan noise or may be engine noise. At least that what it feels. How do i find where the noise is coming from.

2. Is there a way to original repair manual.

3. Does anyone have any experience on QX60 on how should we be maintaining this vehicle apart from regular maintenance of Oil and filter change, brakes. brake pads

4. How do i go for tuning this vehicle. BTW this is our first luxury vehicle and want to make sure we maintain it properly.

5. Any detailing tips for this vehicle

Congrats on the purchase.

How do i find where the noise is coming from.
The best place to start is to lift the hood and do an audible check. See if you can pinpoint at least the location. The good thing is since that is a certified vehicle... it comes with a warranty.

As far as service manuals..... usually you won't find them online for free. You may find bits and pieces on certain repairs but you'd need to purchase a service manual. I did a quick google search and there are some clubs that offer access to an online service manual if you join. I'm not sure how effective that will be. Otherwise companies like Helm sells them.

The owners manual usually carries maintenance information and a guide you can follow.

Is there a "warranty" on the vehicle?

We just bought a certified 2015 Infinity QX60

If it's certified it's got a warranty, have you checked back with the dealer!

Typically has a warranty. Typically. And warranty varies from dealer to dealer.

Vehicle may still be under factory warranty:
Though some warranty plans differ depending on the model and year of your vehicle, this is a snapshot of what most new Infiniti buyers receive: 4-year / 60,000-mile basic coverage. 5-year / 50,000-mile emission control coverage. 6-year / 70,000-mile powertrain coverage.
My NX is. Till some time next year under bumper to bumper, being 2015.
Base line - we do not know.
OP, take a piece of garden hose against your ear. Works great to pin point noise origins.

Thank you PJMax, 2Granddaughters, Marq1, Ukrbyk

Yes there is still warranty left according to dealer. This vehicle came with Unlimited mileage and 6 years warranty. So we are good until 2021.

For certifying the car dealer had also resurfaced the brake disks. I thought nowadays no one resurfaces the brake rotor/disks.
Just thought it was strange.

If rotors are are within specs they can be turned, very common!
