Which primer should I use?

I've just finished patching a sheetrock wall. Pretty good job if I do say so myself!
My question is about priming the repair- I have Ben Moore fresh start water base and oil base, and Kilz water base primers. I plan to top coat with latex semi-gloss.
Which primer would be best? Thanks, Steve

Ben Moore latex. No need for oil based and Kilz latex is garbage.

Semi-gloss doesn't touch up all that good, do you plan to repaint the entire wall?

primer

Update: Just finished priming the repaired section w/Ben Moore water based primer, and it looks great. Thanks for the great advice (as usual!) Steve

I'd go ahead and touch up the primed repair with your semi-gloss, let it dry and then repaint the wall. Less chance of the paint flashing where the old meets the new.
