need help fixing minor leak
What type of caulking would be best for a leaky ceiling I have a very small leak right where the edge of the ceiling meets the wall the wall is brick the ceiling is popcorn ceiling leak only happens when it rains? as you can see in the picture i uploaded the area circled in red is what im talking about and the red line is the seam between the brick wall and the popcorn ceiling. this isnt my pic i grabbed it from google as i dont have a working camera
it only leaks when it rains which isnt often as i live in arizona and when it does leak its a small drip drip drip. since the wall in question faces outside and is made of brick i can only assume the leak is outside but cant see where the leak is outside
i was thinking maybe some caulking on the inside would solve the issue i figured i could just buy some good caulking or some flex seal and just caulk/seal the 2 small areas of the seam where i see the leak
havent fixed it yet wanted to ask the pros first also the leak only happens in 2 small areas both areas the length of a shoe box thanks for your time im new here
also if it matters before i moved in the brick on the inside of the house was painted white to match the ceiling

Welcome to the forums!
While a little latex caulk will fix the cosmetics that is not how you fix the leak!! You need to find on the roof [or maybe siding] where the water is getting in and stop it at that point.

i should have mentioned i live in a 2 floor apat im on the first floor i spoke to the manager of the property but they wont fix the leak unless it is raining because they wanna see exactly where on the outside of the building the water is getting into my place so when it rains i have to call the emergency maintenance number problem is im never home or awake when it rains i usually only find out when i wake up in the morning after the rain has stopped

Keep after maintenance. Taking pics when the water is coming in and/or the wall is wet may help.
Stopping the water on the inside poses two problems; the inside of the wall will become wetter and sooner or later the water will find another exit. Caulking the crack will make the problem worse.
Probably should add that if the backside of the wall/ceiling continues to get wet - sooner or later mold will develop

I would not attempt any repairs until the leak is fixed. Caulking the crack might actually make things worse by forcing the water to go somewhere else causing more damage.
Keep calling your maintenance people. With my properties we may come out and look inside the house while it's raining to get a general idea of where the leak is but the work of really finding and fixing it happens when it's dry. Just by your leak they should be able to identify which general area of the roof is leaking, get up there and look for potential causes.
