caulking or epoxy to repair exterior wall

I am part of an HOA and our exterior wall that sets the perimeter for the community is in need of repair. There are 36 separate location of cracks. We have the option of filling with exterior commercial grade caulking or injecting with epoxy. The contractor recommends the epoxy as the cracks may reappear over time with caulking. Of course, the epoxy is $10k more. What are your thoughts/expertise on this? Wouldn't the cracks reappear over time due to soil movement even with the epoxy injection? This seems to be more of a cosmetic thing and I wonder if the $10k is worth it.

If its cosmetic, go to the store and buy some epoxy and DIY. Something like this that comes with a mixing nozzle. Either way, if it's moving its going to continue to crack and move, but epoxy may give you a better chance. Caulking will just stretch or pull away. At least the epoxy should bond better, assuming the joints are clean.
