What should I look at

I am looking at getting a 2014 or newer f150, I have the car fax. What questions should I ask to avoid getting a lemon?(I have had bad luck) Is there anything specific that I can look for underneath the engine? Thanks in advance.

I Googled "ford f 150 problem years" and saw several answers to your question. I've never personally owned a F150. My future truck will be a Honda Ridgeline if I don't buy another wagon.

If buying used I would do a little research into how to spot a flood vehicle. There are many sites that will tell you how to inspect the vehicle for water/flood damage.

You might find Ford TSB, technical service bulletins, and maybe some other Ford unpublicized (sp) notices. Are there service records you can see ?

Tell the seller you want the truck inspected by your trusted mechanic, If you can't agree on how to get the truck to the mechanic, walk away.
