Myers MPD 20 pressure tank
I am attempting to re-plumb an old trailer that was poorly done and am not able to drain my pressure tank. I have a Myers MPD 20 tank that needs to be drained so that it can be moved. Does anyone have any advice as to how to drain it? I am clueless, I was told to just cut the PVC pipe that goes into the tank and that it should drain from there...that was an epic fail (lol) as I did that and the tank did not drain so much as a drop of water (so much for DIY
) TIA

Normally the drain is part of the surrounding plumbing. Could you attach a photo of the tank and surrounding plumbing, including where you cut the pipe?

Where the arrow points.... remove the PVC plug. You may have to cut the PVC pipe to the left of your tank. You need to let air into the tank while water is draining out.
