Moving our water heater about 4 feet down the wall to move a door over. Currently the cpvc pipes come up from the baseboard and make a candy cane direct connection to the water heater. Admittedly, I want something that looks good. I know they make (and I recently installed) outlet boxes for washers that I like the look of. Do they make such a thing for water heaters? If I have to make my own box that's fine but do they make right angle valves for 3/4 pipe, with pex crimp in, threaded out (so I can used the braided flex line from the valve to the heater), that will securely mount to a box?

Hi all....quick question. A while ago, a load of snow on my 12/12 pitch roof took out a piece of vent pipe on the roof...the vent hole that remained is now covered in snow, and since this has happened the bathroom sink which is located at the top of the house is extremely slow to drain. The other sinks and bath in the house drain fine. I have checked the trap underneath and it is clear of any blockage....when the sink is filled and the drain pulled with the trap cap disconnected it drains fine, but as soon as I put the cap back on it goes back to draining VERY slowly. My question is is this due to the missing vent pipe maybe not allowing enough air into the drain system? Any and all help appreciated. Thanks.
